This exhibition highlights Australia's rich quilting heritage and the technical skill and dedication of its quilt-makers.
Presenting over twenty patchwork quilts that demonstrate a range of diverse approaches to quilting, the exhibition showcases more than 125 years of Australian quilts from the 1820s to the 1950s. The quilts are drawn from the Gallery's collection, which has been developed with the assistance of the renowned quilt historian and collector, Dr Annette Gero.
