Join us on Saturday 13 April for Slow Art Day, a global initiative that shares a focus on slow-looking and its transformative power.
What is Slow Art Day? One day each year, people all over the world take time to visit galleries to look at art slowly.
Participants look at three selected artworks currently on display at the Ipswich Art Gallery for up to 10 minutes each. Sketching, note-taking or simply deeply looking are all possibilities - paper and pencils provided.
Then meet together over light refreshments to talk about your experience.
This event is FREE but RSVPs are essential. Recommended for 12 years and over.
