Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Ipswich Art Gallery, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and artistic talents of our local creatives.
This special event will spotlight the works and stories of distinguished First Nations community members, featuring:

- Artist Kylie Hill
- Author Melanie Saward
- Country folk duo Leona and Cheri Walker
Guests will also have the opportunity to explore I, object a touring exhibition from QAGOMA, showcasing contemporary works by leading Queensland artists.

THV FLOOD
Flood is an art form of music and dance that is a response to living on the flood plains of Ipswich, Australia. Flood dance is characterised by its extruded and distorted shapes.
Kylie Hill
Kylie Hill is a celebrated visual artist who currently has a solo on at Ipswich Art Gallery. Her work will be displayed during the event and she'll offer a profound reflection on cultural legacy.
Melanie Saward
Melanie Saward is an acclaimed author, she will be discussing her creative process in writing her new book, Love Unleashed.
Leona and Cheri Walker
Adding to the ambience, mother-daughter country folk duo Leona and Cheri Walker will provide a beautiful musical backdrop throughout the evening.
